Sander co-founded WMC in 2016 and brings extensive expertise in financial markets and commodity trading. As Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for the company’s overall strategic direction, leadership and commercial management.
Before being appointed CEO on January 1, 2025, Sander served as Chief Commercial Officer at WMC, where he led transaction structuring, funding and execution, new product development and corporate growth initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Sander spent nearly a decade at several debt capital markets boutiques in the Netherlands and London, executing a variety of asset-based financing transactions.
He holds a degree in Economics and Finance from the University ofAmsterdam in the Netherlands.
