We are looking for a motivated AI & Chatbot Development Intern to join our Data & IT team. In this role, you will work on applying cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs), using tools like Azure OpenAI, to build a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model and an intelligent chatbot. The chatbot will assist our colleagues in navigating internal policies, procedures, and knowledge documents efficiently.
This is a hands-on opportunity to explore how enterprise-ready AI solutions can be designed, deployed, and integrated within a professional environment.
• Explore and apply existing LLM tools on Azure, especially Azure OpenAI.
• Design and prototype a RAG-based chatbot that can answer questions about policies, guidelines, and internal processes.
• Connect the model with internal knowledge bases and ensure accurate, context-aware responses.
• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to test and validate chatbot performance.
• Document your approach and provide recommendations for scaling the solution.
For this role we are looking for:
• Active student enrolled at a Dutch university
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
• Fluent in English
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn
• Experience in Python programming
• Proactive and able to take initiative
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect easily with others
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team
• Experience with Azure AI tools, and APIs is a plus
