Purpose

This role supports WMC’s continued growth in Nuclear Fuel and Battery Materials transactions ensuring all deliveries are executed on time and in full alignment with commercial contracts.

About the Role

As Operations Specialist Nuclear Fuel and Battery Materials, you will play a key role in supporting WMC’s growing portfolio, working closely with commercial teams as well as internal functions like Data & IT, Finance and Legal. This position offers exposure to diverse and high value transactions in a fast-paced, international and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Nuclear Fuel Commercial Team in deal execution, including entering trades into company systems, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries

• Support the Battery Materials Commercial Team with physical deliveries by arranging transportation with forwarding companies and shipping lines, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating deliveries between suppliers, receivers, and warehouses

• Work closely with banks on Letters of Credit, including issuance, receipt, review and documents presentation

• Participate in ad hoc system improvement projects

Education and Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in commodity operations/logistics (dry bulk & container shipping)

• Experience working with Letters of Credit

• Self-starter with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Ability to adapt to a changing environment while building strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders

• Proven rational decision-making skills

• Fluent in English required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
